break light is probably the switch under your break pedal is broken.
once it breaks the brake lights stay illuminated to let you know something is wrong.

as for the relay or the cut and jump its up 2 u.
the cut and jump is much easier/quicker but slightly dangerous
and the relay takes longer to do but safer.

you could always just jump it to test it out and if that the fix then do the relay. hope that helps.

brake light also illuminates with low brake fluid in reservoir
puttering could also be due to bad o2 sensor. Trac illumination accompanies that sometimes.

It fixed mine. Try it, and see if it works. Won't hurt!

So should this mod help my car from bogging down and dying after high rpm rev? Also..Will this mod affect any of the safc2 settings or AFR readings? Thank you in advance. BTW, im probably not gonna solder it..but rather just intwine them and electrical tape them together nice and tight...will this be okay? Thanks again.

I did it because my car felt like I had 3 stages... LOL low rpms mid and then after 4-5k rpms it would run fine. I just did this and now it feels a little more even.

you can twist them for now, but I think when you come down again it would be a good idea for us to solder them.
