SC4 Air Intake
I'd like some opinions,
For a single air intake tube, what would you think would be better
•The aftermarket filter to be near the original location (probably 1 bend in the piping).
•The aftermarket filter to be underneath the current stock oem box in that opening behind the bumper, in essence it would be a cold air intake (probably 3 bends in the piping).
4" tubing sound ok?

Q: The aftermarket filter to be near the original location (probably 1 bend in the piping).
A: It is the easiest to do in terms of space and air flow from under the head light...

A: The only problem getting the intake pipe under the headlight(there is not enough room)...
Q: 4" tubing sound ok?
A: I'm working on a 4" myself... It should be fine IMO... It will allow more cooler dense air into the throttle body. I just can not find the right 4" piping without being "crushed" in the bend(have you found a 4" pipe that will work?).

Are you mandrel bending the intake tube?
im starting talks with someone about air intakes for the sc. They say the can make all the necessary accomodations for the mass airflow sensor and etc.
I'd prefer aluminum tubing, but we haven't gotten to that point yet, crossing fingers ...

Nope, not mandrel bending... I used a 90 degree coupling...
