Default It's not my tranny!

I posted on someone else's thread a while back about the W58 whine. Well after a tidbit more research, it is indeed NOT the tranny, but the A/C.... Which brings me to my next question. What's making a whining noise in the A/C, and what will it take to fix it? Thanks in advance!
