'97 SC300 engine and tranny swap
Whats up fellow Lex owners. I currently own a 1997 sc 300. I have done work on the interior as far as tv, dvd, speakers, subs, amps. Some mods like HID lights, kyp shocks, eibach springs, borla exhaust, daizen bushings all around. But now I want to do some real work. I am looking to do a engine and tranny swap. I am unsure of what is the better way to go as far as the 2jz twin turbo 6sp mt or the 1jz twin turbo 5sp mt for a 97 sc300 auto trans. I have just recently moved to florida, ft. lauderdale area and want to know if anyone knows any mechanics who have done this swap or could handle a project like this?

I dont personally know any mechanics in Florida but I know there are lots of people who have done these swaps over there. Especially the 1JZ. Look around here on the forums. Maybe you'll find someone.
