Default starting problem

well im having a starting problem on my car. im sure it might be the starter or a bad connection from one of the wires. Usually the car cranks right ove but now sometimes i turn the key and it just clicks. All the lights turn on and all but no crank. The i can try again and it might do the same thing or it might just start. Rarely it cranks a litle then stops. But it kicks over most of the time. Can this be a loose connection or is it time for a new starter?

having the same problem myself i'm pretty sure it is the starter just going bad mine been doing it since january still kicking it though i found that if i turn the key really quickly into the on position it will just crank and not click. every car is different and you'll get a thousand possible answers but if you want a sure answer you got to go to the dealer or some mechanic shop
