Default 2JZGTE ECU Question.

If I am doing a 2JZGTE Swap into my Sc300 (1992 5Speed) will an A/T Ecu work with it? Various reps ranging for nagasakimotors and Tiger something or another said the A/T will work fine with the 5 Speed from the lexus, and that the M/T Ecu is needed for the 6 Speed Swap. I am now officially confused and bugged.

**** you are a life saver. It was getting pretty depressing having all of the import engine guys say I was screwed. I am using "Phils Manual" and it said you HAD to have the M/T ECU, I guess not huh?

Agreed, I remember sweating it out to find a MT ecu. After I found it, I was scanning on SupraForums and ran across a thread on the topic. The auto to mt was good, the mt to auto was not. I seem to remember that there were some simple mods needed to run the auto ecu.
