Default Speedometer Failure After Clutch Change

Alright so I just did a recent clutch change on my 1993 5speed SC300. It was a success. However, my speedometer will not work now. I know what you might be thinking. Is the speed sensor unplugged? Nope! I checked it today and it is very snug and connected. Im pretty sure I connected everything I needed to connect when I took the transmission off. There are only two plugs on the 5speed transmission. Anyway Ive searched this topic up and got no real answers. Is there anything else I should look for? Im thinking it might have gone bad after I let my transmission fall off the jack when I was removing it. Anyway please let me know. I dont know how fast Im going and I cant tell how many miles I put on my car because the trip meter stays at 0 miles.

well you know that at 40mph in 4th gear your at 2000rpm. at 3300rpm in 5th your are doing 80mph so figure it out...lol. 6300rpm in 5th is 145mph. as far as how many miles you have driven. the car probably gets 20mpg so when you gas up 10 gallons you know you can roughly drive 200 miles on it.

as far as the speedometer i dont know. i did my clutch a few months back also and had no problems. the gears inside the trans for the speed sensor are plastic. they may have been damaged. take out the speed sensor and check the gear.
