Smile Twin-turbo Setup?

Hi guys,
new to the forum, I just brought a 92 5-spd SC300 w/ 38K on it. I found a 1JZGTE twin turbo setup that belongs to a toyota soarer. Do you know the TT setup will it fit. I don't understand what's the reason to swap Supra TT's or go for Toyomoto turbo IF you can fit a soarer TT setup into a SC. Please help...thanks

Yes, everythign will bolt in, BUT, electronics will also need to be swapped, so you will need pretty much the entire front clip. And I hope you can read Kanji. Also, don't break anything, because 1jz-gte specific parts arent readily available in the US. This is the LAST course of action I take. The simplest route is turboing the stock 2jz-ge.

Thanks sc300tt,

I guess toyomoto is the way to go. By the way, how much HP does a 1JZ-GTE 2.5 TT soarer has anyway. Can't find the spec. for the it. Thanks...

Don't quote me on this, but I think it was 260-280hp crank. I'd expect basic upgrades to yield 325+ at the wheels based on what they get out of the slightly larger 3.0 in the Supra TT.

The GTE conversion is not difficult if you have the right guidance. I've completed it in my SC300 with spectacular results. I've documented the entire process in a conversion manual, including all electrical modifications, parts list, etc.
