Help! My 1UZ is making noise... So is my A340E
First of all: Yes, I HAVE SEARCHED.
Before I describe my issues:
1) Just had oil change done (10W-30 Synthetic)
2) Full ATF flush just done and replaced with Toyota Type T-IV fluid.
My car is a 1992 SC400 with a bit under 90000 miles on the odometer. I have owned the car for about 2 months now. When I bought the car, I noticed a very faint ticking coming from under the hood. I researched this on planet soarer and soarer central and it turned out that this is common with the 1UZ-FE (search tappet noise on soarer central), and does compromise the car mechanically. Otherwise, the car was in great shape and was 1 owner, so I figured the car had been taken care of. In the last week or so, This noise has became noticeable louder and is heard most near the valvetrain area/front of the engine. I'm hoping this one is nothing major (possibly coming from a belt/pulley/tension issue?), but you can hear what I'm talking about in this video:

Secondly, about a week ago, I noticed a noise coming from the transmission at idle when I shift into R and D. The best I can descride it as is a squeaking. The noise is not at all present in P or N. It also goes away as soon as the enging is doing more than 1000rpm. Others have had this issue, but I can't find any real answers. The only possible idea I have found is that it could be a worn mount, putting increased wear on a bearing, therefore creating the squeak.
I'm planning a visit to my mechanic sooner than later to get it cheked out, but I thought I'd ask around here in case anyone else has experienced similar problems. Any help/ Advice you can offer me is greatly appreciated.

I had a sticky valve that made some noise for nearly a year after I purhased my car, just changed the oil regularily, and used premium fuel, and the sound slowly went away.
