Default Coolant in #5 Cyl.???? Help!!!

Car started acting up on monday. The engine started running reall rough after about a minute of warmup time so i took it to a mechanic today. Took about two hours to "fix" so i thought it was all over with. Wrong...

Said that Cyl. 5 was misfiring after doing an ECU check. When he took out the spark plug it was literally submerged in antifreeze. He sucked it all out and the car runs fine now, but he said that in order to find out whats wrong he has to open it up. Would cost about $200 just to diagnose, but repair costs are really going to hurt. I just need ideas on what could possibly be wrong. Anything would be great thx!
