Do these blockoff plates do any good? I understand the basic concept of keeping hot air out of your motor. How do you install these? How much help are they? Worth any free HP? What else can I do for free or for cheap to get my sluggish SC going?

I dont think it actually gives any more h.p., just keeps some dirt out of the engine. Try the search on the homepage, as this subject has been previously discussed for years, referring to h.p. gains.
