2JZ GE VS GTE block for turbo charge
I've been told that the GE block won't be as good as the GTE block
for turbo charge because of some bearing within the block.
I don't know exactly what this is about.
Can anyone give me more information on this?

i have had a ge and gte block with never a problem on either...i made over 500 rwhp on a ge block with a thicker head gasket and NEVER had any problems and i drove the car daily and hard...
never had an issue with the same set up on a gte block...
im currently on a ge block and head gasket with daily driven 400 rwhp and no issues....
a well cared for ge block has no issues with boost at all...

the 2jz platform was fully intended as a turbo motor, they in my opinion will last exactly the same depending on how well you maintain your motor. i have had a 700+rwhp supra and 400+rwhp sc300 and currently looking for anything near 1000 hp on my sc300's stock block. minor differences between the two and people have reliably put together high hp setups on the stock ge motor, daveh to name one, with NO probs. if you want to save a buck go the na-t route, i paid 2k for a turbonetics setup on ebay and made 400whp with that kit, im sure you would spend more to drop a tt setup in your ride. but up to you.
i say na-t the motor is already there work with what ya got.
