Default Pulling the engine code???

I know little about cars. What does "pulling the engine code" mean?

When you have a Check Engine light, finding out what the error is.

you have to use a little bit of wire. and jump the 2 connectors in the DIAGNOSE(spelling) i believe it's T1 and E1. The connector is located on the intake side of the 1j. Not 100% sure if it's in the same location as a 2j or 1u.

theres another trick u can do.. i dont know if its as usefull as doing that way stated up ^^..


but i guess u can try it.. i believe u press and hold AC and recirculate and then turn on the car (not engine)

then it does stuff.. iono wat it means but.

mine says

11 (Beep)
21 (Beep)
23 (Beep)
41 (no beeP)

Not in the engine. In the diagnostic port under the dash, drivers side.
