hey guys. my belt tensioner pulley siezed on me. i was hearing this chirping noise for like 2 days, then snap boom smoke. i brought a autozone pulley kit @ $130 it was recalled because of me. the tensioner did not want to move downwards. so i was like F that, lexus dealer it is for me. 200 and it moves. woooo! (always go dealer or Aliga) well to make a long wierd story short i put on the tension pulley and a duralast belt. i am confused as to were the lines are suppose to be for a new belt.. pics below. and i followed the diagram and still confused, does not look right..

the far out line on the black peace is right on the arrow on the silver. is this right

what are you exactly confused of? If you are confused because the diagram has a shock on the tensioner, don't worry, it came with manual 2jz-gtes and later 2jz-ge. It still works fine with out it. I am not sure what you are confused about on line a) and b) it's just telling you to remove cover.

when you put the belt on, it should align with the markings in the front

the aline part. the diagram is not clear.. car runs fine, is the little arrow suppose to be in the middle....???
