Smart man. Four grand in engine upgrades on a 1JZ will really start putting the power down. A big single turbo is the way to get the massive hp numbers. Upgrading the stock twins is not worth the trouble if you want 450-500hp.
If you are looking into the neighborhood of 500hp you are going to have to change out the tranny. The W58 will maybe take 400-450. You would really be chancing it pushing 500+
