From what I've heard, you can use the 300 adaptor in the 400, but the holes need to be re-drilled for the mounting hardware, and some slight re-contouring might be necessary to align everything and allow a smooth flow.

Again, this is what has been told to me, so I don't know for sure.

Lance at Toyomoto said use a 92 LS400 MAF... Its larger.

He said you could just use just the MAF body.... pull the sensor guts out of SC300 MAF, and put it in the larger LS housing.

its supposed to be totally different... its a true MAF, uses either a heated needle or a plunger-type...

MAF = Mass air flow meter

the adaptor allows a cone filter to be connected directly to the meter as opposed to having and air box bolted to it.

I'm glad you asked that question!

I've been searching for one for a while. They sell for betweem 24$ and 29$. No one seems to have them in stock, and some places require you buy their cheesy ricer filter to go along with it.

If you find a place under 30$ that has them in stock, please post.

Thanks,
Keith

I sure will. I have my sponsor looking into getting one right now, he said he may have some laying around...if so, I will post up, and see if I can get them cheap for anyone.

Smile MAF Adapter

I finally got an MAF adapter to my SC400 from Custom Image, I think this is what they call themselves, at Montebello Town Center in Los Angeles. They actually had it in stock, it was pretty nice. The Price was $29.

I just called Custom Image in Culver City @ the Fox Hills Mall and the guy said that he just sold the last one yesterday, and hge isn't sure when the next shipment will come in. I am pretty sure my sponsor can get them then, and I am sure I can get them for less than $20 also. I'll let you guys know if I can, and I'll put people in contact with them if so.

Under 20$ - Damn; keep me informed. I'm very interested.

And for Custom images; they won't ship. They sell parts from the mall, but won't do mail orders. Bastards!
