wwould the 1jz gte bolt onto a sc300 automatic tranny..and how much reliable horses can you make with leaving the stock twins on

Yes it will bolt on but you can get soarer auto trannies for cheap I would go with that instead. As far as holding power I'm not sure ask Rising_Sun.

What he said.... As for the twins just mess around with them for awhile, get used to the power then go single. Just IMO tho.

The OBD1 2JZ-GE auto A340E can be bolted on to the 1JZ and will take all the abuse from the stock twins. Once you go single, the TT auto with a cooler will be a better option.

Yes... So far its holding very well. I have installed a Tranny cooler and all is good.

Right on... I have a fluidyne cooler on mine. Its nice to know it will take the abuse of a single for a little bit at least.

I melted a piston before i messed up my auto trans. The only thing supporting the trans is a B&M trans cooler. This is on stock twins with a few bolt ons and 15-16psi daily for the past 3.
