Default Stock Timing belt

How long can a stock timing belt last on a SC300? 98+ interference/non interference engine?

How can you tell if it has been changed?

My car was meticulously maintained at dealer from day one. However, dealer is unable to currently find the records from 55k-110k miles (due to ownership change of dealership).

Appreciate the help.

If it was done at a proper place (shop, dealer, whatever) it would have a sticker on the cover or somewhere saying when and at what mileage.

If someone did it themselves...well there is no real way to tell.
Unless its totally beat up and frayed looking...also look for stress cracks.

I bought it froma 65 year old gentleman. Car came with all records. Car was serviced at Lexus of Kerney Mesa, where I also went and picked up all the records.

Their comp is having difficulty pulling the records from 2000-2003, when the belt should have been done.

Ok, I will pop the hood and look for the sticker. Thank you so much
