I let it sit for 2 weeks and now it wont start.
Problem:After letting the car sit for 2 weeks I go out this morning to try and start it so I can take it to work. I turn the key and the motor turns but it wont start. Im thinking it is not sparking.
Symptoms:
-It cranks
-It smells like gas when I hit the pedal so I know the fuel pump is fine.
-It sounds like there is nothing but air being punched out in the combustion chambers.
Thanks guys. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
PS..its a 93 SC300 5speed.

Get some jumper cables and hook em up.......... then start it up.
2 weeks without driving can cause a battery, especially an older one, to lose charge.
And if that doesn't work, then we need to figure out why it isn't getting any spark.

Problem solved!
10 mins after posting this I went outside to give it another try. I had a friend give me a jump but no luck. I was getting frustrated. I then decided to just be a savage and let it crank for a minute straight. Yes thats right, a whole 60 seconds. The motor was hesitating but it was starting. I let it idle for a bit and gave it a couple test revvs. You could hear so much missfire from the motor. It sounded like car had two step. It was just as I had suspected. Those 2 yr old spark plugs arent so good anymore.
If this ever happens to you just do what I did.
