if u just do a drain and fill its 2 quarts..

but.. if u do the whole thing (ie filter change and drain out EVERYTHING).. its either 6-8 quarts..

Are you kidding?? The GS is like 12 quarts. I would check these numbers...

i think i used about 6 quarts on my dads sc400 draining as much as i could without pulling the trans and getting it all out of the converter. change the filters while your inthere and run redline d4 atf it made a world of difference in my dads car

the dealership said 2 quarts and that there was no filter???? so the lines and everything total is like 6-8 another dealership said that " lexus isnt designed to need tranny fluid changed.... and if i needed it changed there is a serious problem??? huh???? this car is too confusing i kinda wanna sell it at a low ball price... i think i have a few more maintenance problems and they all are sooo overwhelming
