Default Brake Light in cluster, can I Just fill up my reservoir?

The Red Brake Light is on in my cluster for my SC400 and it always makes me paranoid thinking my e-brake is up, but it's not. It stays lit the whole trip, sometimes it goes away and comes back but alas it's usually always on.

If I were to just buy some Blue Racing Brake Fluid and fill up the Brake Fluid under my hood would this be good? Or do I really need to take my car into Lexus or a Servicing place to get my brakes bled and flush the fluid and replace??

Usually, filling up the brake fluid reservoir fixes the problem.

You can top off and should not have any problem.

Only time I flush is when I have contaminated fluid.

Alright cool, thanks. I just wasn't sure if it was OK to just fill in the reservoir. How much should I fill in the reservoir to make sure I'm ok, It's my first time doing all the maintenance things like this to my car so I just want to be sure I don't mess up.

also check your brake pads, low fluid level usually means your pads are getting low because the caliper pistons are already pushed out pretty far and the fluid is taking up that space.

i dont know if I have to change my brake pads as I don't experience the metal-to-metal noise. the only problem I feel with my brake pads is when I press hard on the brakes, the underneath of my foot, the pedal vibrates.

the LS400 brake kit is on my agenda to do...im just gonna get OEM Toyota Pads I guess that's good enough. but i heard i only need to change the front two? what about the back two brakes?
