How hard is it to swap at 1jz
I was wondering how hard it is to swap a 1jz into a sc400, everyone has been telling me to sell mine & buy a sc300, which I have no attention of doing. I found a 1jz for about $800 through osakamotors, seems to be a pretty good deal. I know I have to get new mounts in order to do so, was also wondering if anyone knows where I could get a 5speed trans.

$800 for a 1JZ is crazy cheap. You can use the stock sc300 5-spd tranny which is a w58 or you can use a MKIII Supra tanny which is a R154. A couple different options.

u can really just get a sc300 one and just swap it?
