Cost?
I am new on here and was thinkin' of going with the 1jz, but i was wonderin' what the average cost of the swap (instalation and all) would be. just kind of a rough estimate of what a couple of ya'll paid.

Aye, I see your new here. So let me tell you. IF you want to get answers to most of your questions. PLEASE use the Search button. And type what your looking for. I.E. 1jz-gte engine swap. and you will find what your looking for.
1jz swap your looking to spend about 2500-3000. If you do the labor yourself.

Labor at $4000?!
I completed my swap in about 6 hours.
It would be cheaper to tow your car to NY or FL to have some of your CL bros help you intall the 1JZ.
A complete clip isn't needed and motorset will work fine. There are many 1JZs out there under $1500.
