Can't help here too much, since I haven't tried the RMM one. I would say the price/hp difference wouldn't justify the price of the RMM one...but don't quote me on that. I used a MAF adapter and cone filter, and was happily surprised.
Of course, I saw an article in Import Tuner about a SC400 that performed poorly *right* as you stomped the gas, with just a cone filter. It turned out to be something with the resonator in the intake pipe...

Well the low end was helped a "little" but the top end where it really needs air is where it really helped. Below 2500rpm's it wasn't taht noticeable at WOT except for the sound. Over 2500 and there was a difference you could feel.
And I've got my MAF adapter plate and cone filter for sale. Cost me just over $50 plus shipping like 4 months ago? I'm selling both for $30 including shipping. Looks like new, but needs a new metal screw clamp thing to hold the filter to the adapter. I had to use the clamp when installing my turbo. THey're like $1 at the autoparts store.

Just reset the ECU as Max suggested and/or get an exhaust/muffs...

Plus, I'm working on a custom intake right now. Hopefully in a day or two it will be complete. Well........... maybe it will work!

the MAF is up at my dads house in Richmond...soon as I get up there in the next week or so, I'll get it and will be able to ship it. That's why I haven't responded to anyone about it!
