Default 2jz-gte vvti into 400 with 400 a/t tranny?

Thinking about swaping out my old 1uz for a newer 2jz-gte. Will it bolt up to the sc a/t tranny? or if i must buy a swap with tranny what else would i need if it comes with the engine, tranny, turbos, ecu and ignitor chip? Sorry i searched but could really find a specific thread about this....

I know ill neeed a intercooler, electric fans but cant think of much more off hand....

For the stock hp it puts out because i dont think i would be doing much upgrading after that. Do you the the older none vvti would be a better choice?

personally i wouldn't do VVTi, but that's just me.

I'm not too sure if the older ones will work or not

vvti is fine if your not going all out. Just make sure you get the ecu for it.

You're going to need new engine mounts, not to mention have them relocated on the chassis, and new coolant resivours, MAF sensors, Computer, cluster (theres a 400 and 300 cluster). There's a reason you don't see many people switching them out
