Default buying a sc

ok guys im lookin at getting a sc300 manual. im trying to build a drift/grip car out of it. right now im looking at swapping to a gte block and running a 35r on it. with a mkiv ear end. my questions are is it possible to swap just the block then turbo it? and wut kind of suspension is available for them?
i can find sway bars just coil overs. also if i understand this right the 5spd in the sc is not the same as a 1jz 5speed. how do the trannys in the sc hold up. also i hear the engine mounts like to break. i cant find a web site tht sells trd mounts. trd usa is down or somthing right now. over all im looking for imput and recomendations from guys that own them. thx
