check engine light question
OK well I finished my swap, drove for a day and now ECU is in limp mode, will not rev past 3k and no power watseover
The question is I have no CEL comming on and it is certain i am shooting codes, should the light come on or I have to re-wire the PIN's to make the CEL work. I need the CEL to read what codes the car is shooting out.

On the 2.5 GT Soarer you get the ECU error codes like this: http://www.toyotaimportsforum.co.uk/...ad.php?t=11529
I assume that this won't work for you if you aren't using the JZZ30/1GZ-GTE ECU and I've no idea how it would work on the SC300 dash but you might get lucky!

So the best option is to take it to a dealer pay the crazy 105/hr and let them give me the codes
yeah its a 1JZGTE ECU but my CEL never lit up, It works fine for the MKIII Supra guys, is there a way I can re-wire so I can get the CEL to work, it shouldnt be hard since its just a warning light basically. I have the wiring diagram for the SC300, but for the 1JZGTE ECU which pin outputs the warning signal
