hey i have an 99 auto sc300 and im planing on putting a 2jz-gte in it, is it a pain in the *** to convert it from auto to a 5 or 6 speed manual trany from a suprA. and dose the vvt-i have any effect on the tranny swap (all it is, is an electric advance.) im a mechanic by trade so it wouldent cost me any thing in labor, just parts. what would i need, just the trany ,a clutch, a master cylinder a, slave cylinder and some lines and a pedal. would i need a supra manual ecu? is it realy anything that hard to do, some one told me the holes are already drilled for the pedal. also keep in mind my hp goal is around 750 at the wheels, can a built supra manula tranny handel this. im sure it can, but im also sure one of u guys already did it, so i ask. what do you guys think?

Please use the search function. This topic has been ask 100000s of times. The MKIV 2JZGTE swap is a common swap for our cars. As well as "Soarer" 1JZGTE swaps which are pretty much PNP. The 1JZ can also be had with VVT-i.

im not talking engine swaps, im talking just trany swaps, and why dont u guys try searching trany swaps because, as comon as it is there aint nothing on this fourm about it. so why dont u try doing a search before u recomend it...
