Default Koyo radiator

going to upgrade my cooling system next week, just wondering since i could not find an all aluminum radiator for the sc300, but found one for the supra on ebay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/KOYO-...spagenameZWDVW

do you think this will fit my sc300 or what kind of mods will i have to do to it? or is there one made specially for the sc300? also the flex-a-lite 210 dual fans, with the thermostat control, where can i buy those electric fans?

I'm sorry I can't specifically answer your question, but I know a little because I've got one. The Koyo for the Supra TT is not a direct swap for the oem SC Rad unless you have a 2jz-gte Supra engine in there. I think the challenge you face is either the supply and/or return lines are in different locations for the n/a. You will need to make some straight forward mods to supporting brackets. I did not pay attention to this because my shop took care of all of this when they swapped in the 2jzgte.

On another note, it is difficult to imagine you having overheating problems with even a modified SC300 2j. The Koyo is one amazingly good radiator with a capacity to handle Supras putting down four figure power numbers. It is huge over-capacity for an n/a 2j and, well, it looks damn nice compared to the plastic top oem.

The seller lists this radiator as (buy it now) or "best offer". fwiw, I offered $319 and it was accepted (about 18mo ago). Very happy with it.
