My 1.5JZ-GTE T67 build for my 92 SC300
After managing to keep my car pretty stock for about two years I finally took the plunge and did a swap. The car is a 92 Lexus SC300 5spd. Here are a few details on the swap:
2JZ-GE bottom end with Supra TT rods and pistons
Stock 1JZ-GTE head
"Stryder" exhaust manifold
Garret T67 with a .70a/r and a p-trim exhaust
HKS 40mm wastegate
3" downpipe and exhaust to an HKS carbon muffler
Tial BOV
3" charge piping
24x12x4 intercooler
Walbro 255 fuel pump
6an feed line
TTC fuel rail
Rochester 750cc injectors
Aeromotive FPR
AEM Wideband
MAP ECU
Spec Stage 5 clutch
I think thats about it. All the work was done at Fastech Motorsports in Louisville, TN [(865)681-7708] by Mark and Kris. From the engine assembly to the charge pipe fabrication, I'm thoroughly impressed with the job they did. They were meticulous in all their work and they consulted me on all the little details of the swap. I would recommend them 100% for any and all work you need done.
Anyway, here are some pics. Sorry the lighting sucks but its dark and cold outside so the dim lighting of my garage will have to do.
All the welding/cutting/fabrication on the charge piping, upper radiator pipe, down pipe, and exhaust where done by Mark and Kris. The cold side of the charge pipe is ONE big baller mandrel bent piece which clears everything, power steering and AC lines included. You have to see it off the car to really appreciate it. Most of the polishing was done by me and I promise it looks better in person under natural light rather than my shatty digital camera.
Talk amongst yourselves.. Comments are welcome.

Finally, someone noticed my thread
It drives great man. The T67 comes on quick. Quick enough that I have to watch the road and can't really pay attention to any gauges till 3rd gear. 15psi is tons of fun for now. Once I have the parts set aside for a R154 swap I'll turn it up to 20ish psi and really have some fun.
I definitely recommend a LSD and NOT having 19s for this power level.

Thanks for the compliments everyone.
Technics: Most of it involved progressive wet sanding from 300 to 600 to 800 to 1000 to 1500 to 2000grit then using a polish for the final step. For the SS charge piping I just used a polishing wheel on a grinder and some polishing rouge and a lot of time.
laxdude362: I live about 5 minutes from UT. I live off the Rutledge Pike exit kinda by the Zoo. It's too bad its getting too cold for all the weekly meets in town now. I'd really like to see your car.
Duckness: I went with the 1JZ stuff because I came across a great deal on it.
