Default My 1JZ carnage from last night

So I was out and about last night cruising around tampa/clearwater/st. pete area. Met up with a few MKIII guys, went to a few meets. On the way home me and another member with a single'd 1jz mkiii play with each other a few times.

The last time he let off in 3rd. I kept going. Got up to about 120-125ish and the car stopped going. Started to putter and felt like it didnt want to shift. Wouldnt really boost past 4psi. So i slow down and get engulped in a cloud of smoke. Then im like ****. Pull over. See oil around the filler cap and downpipe area.

Got home a little after 5am after waiting almost 2 hours for a flatbed to bring it back to the wifeys apartment. I pulled the plugs this morning to do a compression test and found oil on ALL the plugs, number 5 tip and electrode looks like it melted?? Started the compression test on cyl 1 and saw oil shooting strraight up from the spark plugs holes... I had wifey turn it over and looks like its coming from cyl 4??

Thats about as far as i got with it. Ill trailer it back home to orlando sometime in the next few days so I can tear it apart to see what i ****ed up...

Not 2 bad considering it lasted atleast about 3 years on the twins.

Looks like oil came out of the filler cap?

Found oil on the downpipe as well...

ALOT less smoke than compared to last night

Cylinder #5 plug. Just replaced a week ago.

This is what happened when I tried to do a compression test

Look at the oil bouncing off the hood.

a few vids of the fun i had with that motor:

almost 3 years of beating on that motor with the stock twins at 1bar, driving it 100 miles to tampa and 100 miles back 3-4 times a week since march this year, making high speed pulls on the highway, running it down the 1/4 mile, doing 1 minute plus long burnouts, etc etc. It was well worth the fun i had it it. Time to come back stronger!

Dude, that's gotta suck so much. You going 2J now? Or, you going to stick to 1J? At least you had some real fun with it. So how long you going to be out for the count?

you sure it's the motor? could easily be a bad turbo that spit all that oil into the cylinders...

either way, sucks man
