Default Post dyno graph on your SC400

Please post your dyno graph on SC400

i will start first

http://www.dragtimes.com/1993-Lexus-...aphs-9719.html

I am running with a stock torque converter.
Only mods I have are NGK Iridium plugs, S-AFC 1 dyno tuned, Exhaust rear mufflers replaced ( 2 rear resonators removed), BFI intake system as in www.planetsoarer.com (mine is completly sealed off from engine bay, taking air from lower part of the front air chamber.
I notice a big difference in power after just intake and exhaust, also after tuning with S-afc noticed a big improvement.

Hey, 207whp is what I last dyno'd at also with my 1992 SC4 runnning with no ECU piggy and no nos...Your power curve leads me to believe you are running a aftermarket torque converter. Am I correct?.....

What I would like to know is what is the best dyno ever on an early model SC400 N/A, and still with the stock engine internals?....I saw one reach 300whp but it was sporting an eight throttle body intake, cams and side headers and exhaust.....Not exactly street legal with that type of intake and exhaust setup though... I have seen a few 220's.....

I put down about 190 whp with SAFCII tuning, K&N filter. (Dyno sheet not posted)

Here is my dyno with K&N filter, NX wet kit 150 shot, bottle warmer, untuned.
I would like to go back for some tuning now that my tuner has figured out how to tune the SAFCII with nitrous. I have also added an ApexI WS cat back since this dyno session.

Are you talking about the same dyno chart here? Your chart says 297whp.

Verylost, Without getting into it with you, I have a very difficult time believing that you picked up 20whp from just a tune job....That is amazing if it is true....I hooked and tuned my Safc Apexi and could only get 8whp and we tried tuning several times. Rich, Lean it didn't matter 8whp is the best I could come up with......Did you tune it extremely lean?...Advance timing? Maybe your stock ECU was out of whack? How is that possible?

I would love to meet your tuner....man.....

i know a lot of guys are tuning with the SAFC 2, but what about the SAFC NEO which has more fuel points for a finer tune. this is what i plan to use.

i'm gonna throw this out there for ppl to know.

I had dynoe'd 188rwhp on a dynojet... had it tuned somewhat to 206rwhp. now that's fine and dandy, a 18rwhp gain.

Now here's the food for thought. I had a unichip in prior and baseline on their dyno was 166rwhp (dynamometer) and the after mild tuning was 198rwhp (could've gotten more because i was still running rich at this point and the timing was still semi-conservative). now i kno the dynos are different, but i'm lookin at the gains and not the peak numbers. So i'm thinking there's a lot to be gained from tuning the timing as well... i didn't go unichip because the dealer was an ahole and didn't care for my business so i ended up with safc2.

overall, i feel mediocre with the safc2, it's okae in gaining that little extra from fuel tuning but i'd want the full potential from something with timing as well.

Just FYI,... I dyno tuned an NA 96 300ZX and got 22hp gains / 24 ft-lbs tq gains... with from initial to final tune. The thing to keep in mind... is the gain may not be in peak power, but driveable, useable power band.

I think the NA V8 engine would be more responsive to fuel tuning than a V6, and if you did due timing adjustments... you could get more.
