Default New plugs, wires, cap 'n' rotor...MPG is shot to hell!!!

So it rolled over 52k, and after seeing what a rotor looks like after 80k I decided to do mine.

Toyota cap n rotor.
Toyota wires.
NGK platinum's.
BFI, with K&N Drop-in

Car runs great, gas mileage down the hole.
I'm at 15.5 to 16.0mpg when I used to be at 19.5 to 21.0?

Any thoughts on what I did wrong?
Should I reset the ECU...pull the battery?

I'm pretty good with motors, but this one is a stumper.

Cap and rotor is simple, I searched and found a DIY on it. Of course I was using my other laptop in the garage (that I'm selling in the gen classifieds) So I didn't save the link...but you have a SC400...tis not da same!!

this is for the SC300

Its three screws...
Take the airbox out for the bottom one
Remove the cap, pop wires off and replace on new cap.
Rotor is 2 screws, and don't touch the metal (spark) edge
Put new cap on.
The No. 5 plug (I believe) is at the One'o'clock position next to the top screw closest to the radiator. And your done.

Oh and Re set your computer

Default Update!!

I've put 80 miles on it since the cap n rotor change and Reset of the computer...also notice my pos battery cable was not making very good contact...so took care of that.

Night and day difference.

20-22mpg keeping my foot out of it.

Then, yesterday I kept up with a 91 Supra Turbo to 120mph!!!
(The Sup was kinda blowing smoke, but it made boost)

My engine is buttery smooth!!!
