Which Knock Sensor is Best used for all the standalones out there? Front or Back one?

I did some reading and found that the 2jz has 2 knock sensors. One in the front and one in the back of the block both on the driver side.

Its my understanding that one sensor listens to wide range of frequencies and the other one is very narrow.

Which knock sensor is best to use wide or narrow and which one is it front or back?

Just got my car started and running around the block and need to make sure its safe.

It's come to my attention that the sensors may be the same but are separated to hear/sense the front 3 cyclinders and the back 3. At this rate which do you guys think is the least noisest/vibration location, the front sensor closer to the came gears or the rear one closer to the tranny?
