Engine finally out getting ready to put new 1JZ in, process was fairly easy.No need for special tools only engine lift. seperated the engine from car with by using only 10,12,14 and 17mm and a breaker bar for the hard bolts. Only two bolts for engine mount and a good set of pliers.

I will take pictures of bolts that are needed to take out and detailed pictures when 1JZ going in, with a better camera other than my camera phone.

is it always necessary to drop the engine/tranny in the car at that steep an angle?

dejacky: actually I am taking out the engine and yes its a steep angle since the transmission is still mounted to the engine, shoots the engine out of center.

hass: i live in windsor, ontario. so prolly accross the border from where u live.

I am thinking of doing a DP and staright pipe for now, nothing big until i blow these stock turboes and then its single for me.

Yeah prolly its the same car, you see at Wayne State parked close to Star Bucks always getting tickets. Yeah I know who your friend is, the ZX with tooo much power. What car is your friend getting the soarer clip for his sc or supra?
