Searched but couldnt find an answer...SAFC2
Whats goin on SC owners.
I have been searching for the past hour or so, reading all the SAFC2 threads but I couldnt find an answer. I was looking to see if any SC300 owners have basic mods (intake and exhaust) and an SAFC2. I was wondering if anyone has dyno tuned it? I have one but I have yet to install it and tune it. Its been raining for the past week here, otherwise I would have done it already. I have dynoed my car stock...with 154hp and then with my intake and exhaust I made 169hp and 169tq. I know most of you are thinking those numbers are realllly low. But they arent really. The day I dynoed my 169hp, there was an 03 IS300 with Cold air intake/headers/exhaust and he only put down 152hp. It was a dyno dynamics dyno. They say they read the lowest out of all the dynos.
Anyway, heres a picture of my intake, as you will be able to see, it doesnt really add horsepower, but it does make a nasty growl at WOT.
Exhaust is custom 3" piping with a cat and daul 2.5" Apexi N-1 mufflers.
If anyone has tuned, please let me know. Either PM me, or just reply here, sometimes I forget that I start threads though lol.

Thats pretty nice..but you have a 1jz..and your turbo. Im looking for just a 2JZGE non-turbo..although, turbo 2JZGE with stock HG and around 8psi using the SAFC2, Id like to know what kinda numbers yall have too.

You really dont need someone to dyno tune a SAFC2. I tune my friends all the time around here. Just takes some know how and knowledge of the car and such. Unless youre tuning some extreme's (like + or -6 or more) you should be fine tinkering with it yourself.

3in piping....... is a bit big for N/A. you'll have more torque and power w/ a 2.5. Anyways, the safc2 is awesome. Buy a wideband, then you can tune the safc2 yourself. If not, go get it dyno tuned w/ sum1 who knows supras. But, buying a wideband is pretty much the same price as a dyno tune.
Since u got the 3in piping go turbo ur car man. Save up some money and na-t that sucka.

HAHA. Thanks guys. I do plan on turboing the car. Funds are low, and Ive been tryin to find a job, I just recently moved so that why nothing is happening.
To get the car dyno tuned it is 70 an hour. The whole reason I posted this thread is because I know I wont be doing it for a while so I wanted to see what kinda numbers to expect.
I checked supraforums and didnt really find much. I know the piping is big, but I actually gained some torque...169hp and 169tq...course thats on top-end.
Here are the dyno graphs from the dyno day a few weeks back.
http://corrperformance.com/TDD.htm <<download the video, there was an SC400 that dynoed that day.
The first graph I made 167.5hp and the 169tq..or maybe a lil less, cant see it because of the thing in the way.
The second graph was 169hp and only around 155tq, but it is an automatic and the car was jumpin on the dyno.
