Default 3 inch v band clamp not fitting flange wtf

ok my v band i had got from ebay is supposedly for a 3" application ... the flange i have measures 3"s wehre it welds to the DP (cool)..... but measures 3.5" where it clamps, and the v band wont even make it around it... not even close liek the screw actually sits on the flange and wont flatten up to go through the other side...... do i jsut have the wrong clamp? im goign to order one from BL as soon as i know i have the wrong part casue its not working..... jsut need to make sure the flange is right....

i know ive been posting alot and i thank you guys for the halp i should have the car boosted here in a couple weeks
