Default apexi n1 vs magnaflows mufflers

i have not made my mind yet, which mufflers i would like to get. i will have
2.5" mandrel piping welded to the mufflers. just need some input on which way i should go, anyone got any experience with the apexi n1? i have really been leaning towards the apexi n1's because i like the look of the stance. im not into the single exahaust with the 45 degree angle. but at the same time i like the look of the magnaflows, give it a classy look. but i think imma go with the apexi's. anyone got the n1's? how are they... how is the tone?? all info is appreciated.

Tough choice. Both are really good mufflers. You are talking about the magnalfow 14829's right? I think I have only seen the N1's in a single set up on our car. I would go with the n1's just because not that many people have it compared to the magnaflows. The n1's would sound more.....aggressive? I can't figure out the word. More racer like I guess. Anyways let us know what you go with.

FWIW, I'm making over 700whp with an exhaust that some would call pea-shooters. They look great and sound even better. Basically, I have 3" piping (no cats) to the "Y" pipe, and then I use two 2.5" pipes (no resonators) to DynoMax straight through, double offset mufflers with the OEM tips welded on.

It looks great, sounds even better, and flows plenty inspite of the small ID.

You won't be disappointed in the sound or the look.

Hey Scott,
didn't you used to have magnaflows? How do the dynomax compare? Also, do you have any pics of the underside of your exhaust? I'm interested in how it looks. Your ride looks good btw .

about the apexi n1's

everyone i know with n1's... the backside rusts out and holes appear...

i had an n1 on my honda.. it happened to it, full real n1 catback on a 240sx... same thing but worse, the mufflers about to fall off

friends crx custom made, same thing the back rusted out...

and i dont know if it applies to inline 6's and v8's but on a honda the mufflers sound like ***... its raspy. if you look inside them its solid half way through then you see the holes and packing, unlike other mufflers where its all holes and packing

i like that look but id like smaller mufflers those are way to big., the n1's look nice. but instead of it shooting angled. id like it shooting straight. it gives it a nice stance.
