Default i just ordered the aem standalone unit, who else has it?

hey fellas i just ordered the aem 30-1101 unit for my car, im currently doing the headgasket and upgraded turbo with headstuds, and decided to jump to the standalone route to control the car. i have found some of you by searching the forum to read up on your cars mods and results but im looking for info and what some of you think about the unit and your wiring problems or hardware concerns.
mods will be the following:

aem standalone
aem wideband
turbonetics 60-1 turbo kit
upgraded turbo ( big compressor wheel/bigger compressor housing)
turbonetics raptor blow off valve
spearco intercooler
walboro fuel pump
1.8 mm cometic headgasket
turbonetics external wastegate
arp headstuds
440cc injectors
3" freeflow exhaust (no cats)

any opinions and input appreciated. and this is the second unit i have owned, as i had one on my supra but am curious how it does on this car. so im very familiar with the unit.

thanks all!!

Thumbs up

Congrats ben, it sounds like your car is going to be a sceamer. Any particular reason why you went with the 1.8mm thickness headgasket?

I run the 1000 box in my NA-T, seems to work well with a few bugs. I bought the car with the 1000 or I would have went with the 1100 for sure. That would have made life much easier.

I would go with bigger injectors than 440's. I'm using the 525's with just the piggyback. You could go any size you want but I think the 440's will hold you back in the long run.

I agree with the injectors.

You must be really happy to be getting that EMS. I know I would, thats one of the best and one of the most important mods you can ever do. Congrats The sad face represents jealousy

i must admit im thinking about the injectors also...but. i want to see how it does with just these for now. as long as i hit 400 rwhp im happy i dont want to get tooooo crazy on power as im only running a 5 speed and from what i read 400hp is pushing my limits.

I've got AEM, but it's the 1100 for the Supra TT. Got it running great, finally.
