sc300, gt42 turbo, transmission question
Hey all, I picked up a 93 sc300 the other day. Got a few questions
The track light(one inside the speedo or tach) stays on. The car has a mustang throttle body(custom sheetmetal intake) is this why its on? On my supra, they have a traction controll butterfly that shuts to stop the spinning, could this be why the light is on because its gone?
Also, my car will NOT shift when WOT. You have to let off the gas, let it shift(or you shift yourself) then get back on it after it shifts. Driving around normally it drives great and the trans doesnt slip at all.
If I floor my car in 1st, once boost hits it will jerk allmost, like it pulls/stops/pulls/stops. If you hit it in 2nd or 3rd it doesnt do it at all. Any idea's? Perhaps the traction controll is kicking in even though its been turned off via the button if the tires break loose(im sure they do in first, car makes 410whp on 12psi)?
