Default Help!!!!

I'm new to this forum so let me thank you in advance. I have searched this and other forums for a while now. My issue is this...A/C indicates high speed but only blows on low. From what I have found on this site, my blower transistor is bad not the blower resistor. Correct??? The transistor appears to be located "in" or "on" the evaporator casing? Can I replace it without removing the entire A/C? How? Any exploded views/service manual pics? Has anyone done this repair? I'm pretty good with wrenches, just not the knowledge or lingo. I just purchased my first Lexus...a 1993 SC400 with 32K original miles from the original owner. It took me 13 years to be able to afford one so now I must learn it's quirks and accolades. This site is full of amazing know how so anyone who can help....THANK YOU!!!!
