Sweet, I wonder how much of a HP gain that would have considering its a full exhaust, not just mufflers. Anyone have any other info on it or how it sounds?

Seems expensive to me. Im just going to get my friends Dynomax mufflers and have custom mandrel bent cat back piping, unless I go with a single exhaust.

I'm getting Dynomax ultra flows from fellow SC owner/member "Banking" and keeping my 3 1/2" Brosal stainless tips...

$800 + is toooooooo much for the exhaust IMO...

Apexi' quality, sound, and looks is the only way to go

I wish they sold a full N1 catback for our cars over here...

now that i looked at it; that looks A LOT like an N1 Dual system...

WOW! that seems way overpriced. im pretty sure going with a complete custom exhaust would be cheaper and much better performance wise. just my $.02

depends on what you call loud

a single 3" N1 would be louder than any of the other catbacks...

its deep and quiet at idle though; and on a 300 series motor it sounds awsome... i've never heard a 400series before...
it only makes noise when you romp on it...

dual exhaust would be a lot quieter

Anyone put a straight pipe on an SC4 yet? Im thinking of doing a header back straight pipe with dual resonators, but am wondering if it may be too loud.

Hey Matt...that sounds like the only way to go if you really want horsepower and throaty sound. That kind of modification i use to due on all my cars (RX-7, Eclipse, BMW) I think you should make the modification unless you have girlfiends...it could be annoying. Let me know how it sound if you do....SonicSC

Im going next weekend to have it done hopefully. I saw a GS4 with a straight pipe yesterday and it looked pretty good.

Im going to try to model my exhaust like this one:

Should sound great with my ram air setup when it is finished.

I did a full exhaust removing the cat and resonators on my 1994 sc400 and it was loader than a mustang 5.slow.
It sounded alot meaner though and gave it good top end with the NOS on.
What ram air do you have?

I havent finished my ram air yet (waiting for my adapter, got to lazy to make my own). I plan on putting a cone filter in the stock airbox (looks like it will fit fine) and taking a tube with a box on the end I found at home depot to force more air into the airbox.

Is your exhaust pretty much a straight pipe (no resonators, mufflers)? What size piping and how much did you pay?
