Default Oil pan bolt question

i take my car to my dad friend shop today to get an oil change and the bolt is really hard to take it off so they accidently strip the thread. they put a new bolt on but it has a little leaking thru the hole. Can i just rethread the hole and put bigger bolt or i have to change new oil pan.
