OOOOooohh AAhhh....  how long did you take to do all this labor time, not including getting the parts. im about to buy a 2jzgte motor with auto tranny, but i dont want the auto, so im going to have more custom work ahead of me, has anyone swapped a 5spd to the asrito 2jz??

which 5sp are you referring to? W58 or the soarer/mk3 supra R154?
there is no custom work to put a W58 on the 2jz. all the parts are easily available. if you can find an R154 off the soarer then it is easy as well. if you find an R154 off a mk3 supra then you need to do some modifications. if its from a 7MGTE mk3 supra then you need a 1/2jz bell housing. theres a lot of info on this in the search

well i wasnt sure which tranny was put in it. im trying to find the best bang for the buck cuz i cant afford a 6speed, but i did not know about if the 5spd from a 1jzgte? would fit in a 2jzgte?

man i wish there was more detailed swaps like this on the forums. like the 6spd and plus and neg of usdm over jdm 2jzgte.
keep up the great thread and info i cant wait for the rest.
i want a sc and gte swap so bad i can taste it. just need to keep saving

its like a megen chipped ecu for a civic
a re amamiya tune for a rx7
or a nismo or mines tuned ecu for a nissan
i had a mines tuned ecu in my 240 and it was a big difference, im sure its the same with this one
