hey ppl! Just got a SC300 and i can say i'm very happy with this car! the best thing i could have gotten for my money! I just have one question - the battery light comes on the dash when the car is idling and the radio doesn't want to come on. Can you tell me what this is due to? i guess that this is because of an old battery (the car still has a factory lexus one which i'm guessing is something like 13 years old)

alternator not generator .it might be the alternator loosing power .disconnect the battery while the car is idling and if it shuts off it's the alternator
