Default Push starting car = bypassing neutral safety switch?

I know it's not good for the car, but will push starting the car start it by bypassing the neutral start / neutral safety switch? Can this be used as an alternative for jumping the starter while I figure out how to wire the NSS?

At the same time, maybe someone here can give me some direction on wiring so I don't need to go through this craziness? I can't locate any info on bypassing the NSS on a SC300/Soarer, other than posts of other confused people asking for info.

Thanks!!
