The twin-turbo 1JZ-GTE. Although rated at Japan's self-imposed maximum rating of 280 hp (206 kW), this was probably quite conservative. A later unit (with VVT-i and a single turbo) probably produced well more than 300 hp (221 kW). Torque was rated at 278 ft·lbf (376 N·m) at 2400 rpm.

Toyota Soarer GT JZZ30 91-01 FR 1600 1JZ-GTE 2491, 6 twin turbo 280hp/6200 39 (378nm)/2400

http://www.japanesesportcars.com/engines/

378= 278.76lb/ft
376= 277.29lb/ft

I'm a little suprised at how low the tq comes on. Makes the 1jz even better imho.

I was looking over it the 2jzge and 2jzgte have diofferent torques fro some parts.

I tried to link to it but apperantly i cant link outside.

I'll have to go in tommorow, take screenshots and then upload them 1 by 1 into imageshack. May take awhile.

What are you looking to torque down specifically? Do you have a torque wrench to measure the torque being applied to the bolt you are tightening?
