Default S-afc

Hey guys,
Im just about to install Apexi S-AFC II in my SC3 and those of you have them where did you put the unit in the car. I've searched and found one that placed front of the center air vents.
Any more pics???
Suggestions??

Thanks in advance.

Glove box is an option, or you could replace the stock headunit with a single din aftermarket one. Then you would have space for the SAFC as well.

Let me know how your install goes. I got a SAFC sitting around as well. I writeup would be very cool

Thanks everyone for your input...
Im thinking about mount it on the dash, near center but closer to the driver side.
It will be nice to mount it below my single din but I already have the sirius controller under it (custom fit).

i have all that stuff in the center consule. i left the mounting plate for the phone in &
put everything on top of it. that way the safc's up high, easy to see & reach.

I am astonished at how little I ever do with the S-AFC once it is programmed, like nothing. I'd probably locate in the armrest or the glovebox.

I do use the Greddy EBC often and was able to cut a portion of the bottom of the ashtray and drop it in there. Perfect, flip up the ashtray its all there at my finger tips and quite visible to me.

i remember someone on the forums long ago installed his on the left side of the steering wheel. It's the part under the driver side vent but above the trunk release/gas door switches. He cut up that part and flush mounted it there, came out very nicely.

I know it sounds ghetto, but you know those paint sticks home depot gives you. I cut of a few pieces of that and made a wedge shape piece.. Then I pained it black... then I just stuck some double-sided tape on both sides and it works/looks pretty good.

I mounted mine where the steering column is so that you could read it while driving. And of course I'm one of those guys with a 1JZ and no factory tach. Too lazy I guess. But anyways, it's mounted there so I can easily change the settings if I needed to. I'll post you a pic when I get home.
