Default 1jz performance data?

I understand that 1jzs have about 27hp and 260tq but how does that translate into real world numbers on a sc300/2.5gt-t/t l? 0-60mph times? 1/4mile?

Also what would be needed for a 1jz to get about 350 crank hp? a boost controller?

Im still conflicted about a sc3 with 1jz swap and a sc4 96.

on 1 hand the sc4 has 270tq, on the other, the 1jz has 276hp...

1JZs make a little more than that...I made 263 hp / 276 ft-lb of torque at the wheels, stock boost, with no cat...

Yep, completely stock other than a missing cat. That's with the stock air box, stock SC300 resonators & mufflers. If you look at the air/fuel ratio, that's also with it well in the 10s before redline. You get that into the low 12s and you're looking at some serious improvement.

wow that all i need. 1jzs are stock very underrated(probably because of the gentlemens agreement of 280ps) so my target of 250-300whp is already there stock. did you do in on a auto or manual tranny? I'm looking at getting a auto. how much tuning was done here? what are your times?

The above run was with a 5-speed...the W58 my car came with. The 1JZ front clip I bought was an auto. There was no tuning done...like I said the setup was completely stock other than a missing cat.

I haven't run the car at a drag strip so I won't even guess as to how fast it is. But it will light up the rear tire going into 2nd, and that's with 275s. The car is seriously quick, and the 1JZ swap was the best $1800 I've spent on this car.

Here's a video of it being drifted at a Drift Day competition, by professional drifter Alex Pfiffer. All that's been done to it since the dyno has been the addition of a A'pexi AVC-R boost controller set at 12 psi, and the mufflers have been removed to help top-end power.
