hey everyone. My friend's 5 speed (love my auto) jerks foward when hes off the clutch. It doesnt happen all the time. comes and goes. clutch problems??

I had a '99 Prelude that did this. You'd come to a stop, but you'd feel the car try to lurch forward and it was completely random...did it some times, and then not at all. When I replaced the clutch, I found that a part had broken off the pressure plate and was getting stuck against the pressure plate and bellhousing.

I cant say I have any problems with my 5 spd doing that.

yeah after second and third with the clutch let off the engine revs and accerates slightly (jerks). seems like it does it at lower rpm.
